So why dont you see that this is not about helping a fellow human being in need. Everyone should do that. The sheriffs dept took her to the hospital to ensure that in case there is any complication, things could be take care of. Why? Because its the law and the majority in this country respect the law. No one, even illegals, can be denied emergent care. This would not happen if she were in Mexico or India. No free medical care there, and no one gives a shit about the rights of prisoners there.
If every one decides to choose for themselves which law they will obey and which they will ignore, society can not exist. And as I pointed out in my previous post, this woman has a history of repeated violations of the law and is NOT a victim that this biased article tries to portray her as.
And your theory about child birth leading to near death like pain is absolutely baseless. Pain is a subjective phenomenon and what is expireinced as a 9/10 by some hysterical yuppy, will be a 0 to others. Childbirth is a NATURAL phenomenon. The question in the title of this post is for the user who gave me a red dot for "selling the July VB reversal"
I am going to re-iterate, for I firmly believe I owe my ability to file AOS to this organization!
If you too saved thousands of dollars owing to the VB reversal... this is the least you can and should do to help yourself to a GC, a few years sooner than otherwise.

I tend to agree.... nowhere in the past discussions IV seem to have cared about EB3s. It is more frustrating to see this situation sincce Eb3's have been suffering for longer with no hopes what so ever.
And anyone trying to implicate that EB3s are less skilled are plain wrong - we got in EB3 limbo due to large corporations doing things by book (or for plain long term commitment out of workers).
Either way, IV leadership needs to re-iterate and re-emphasize at least once that this is not EB2 fight only but EB fight in general. IV discussions simply have gone EB2 biased only for too long.

Long time back when the british ruled India a lot of our ancestors joined their ranks and spit on fellow Indians. They were not realizing that actually the british were using them to rule effectively. That same trait has remained ever since. This is one of the greatest sin of the Indian and also many other third world cultures. They act on opportunistic thought patterns trying to gain favor whenever the opportunity arises even if it meant spitting on their own relatives. Sympathy, compasssion, honesty and integrity is often forgotten and/or purposefully suppressed for apeasement of the rulers. The feeling that you are being ruled and not in control of your own life is what really promotes such self righteous thoughts.
If you analyze this situation you will realize that there is a debate going among american citizens regarding legalizing the 11 million folks here and those favoring are in majority now. Realize then that this is a transition phase and those who dont like this to happen are trying to do as much harm as possible. causing a girl to deliver while being tied down and asking you and me to take a driving test each time you go to extend your visa are all part of this very same process. Remember that there are many many times more americans who would support, love and care for that girl than those who care/resepct/love you.

What the first post might mean is this.
DOS has already allocated the available visa numbers for this fiscal to qualifying pending cases. There are are no more visas left to allocate.
It is still completely possible that there are ~ 14,000 pending cases with visas already allocated - simply awaiting approval by USCIS.

I appreciate your enthusisam to respond to most of the negetive comments and thats a good thing. Try to contain yourself sometimes...otherwise people might just ignore you as another loud mouth.
ya, lets step-up a poll and have everyone vote, as if this is the US congress. And after voting leave it for someone else to work on this and other "brilliant" idea. There needs to be a reality check. This poll doesn't mean anything unless there are enough people to spend time and energy at every level. But ya, lets setup a poll and have everyone vote, it will give everyone a feel good factor that everyone contributed in the advocacy effort, how? by voting in the pool and not doing anything about how everyone votes.

You can do that and IV (core or its members) will not bite at you, because we know we are all part of the same movement, with the same frustrations, pain and stress associated with uncertainty. What is really needed is channelling the frustration toward action, mobilization and support at the grass roots.
The opposition is strong. But if we are to succeed, we need to work together. IV work is not easy. Takes time, commitment and money. Lots of people have been trying to do it for a long long time now. But circumstances and uncertainty/unpredictability associated with the legislature and governmental agency(ies) have always been the deterrent for IV's success.
Reversal of July 07 VB, multi-year EAD, Extended OPT etc. - IV has played significant roles. Under tough circumstances, IV has been able to obtain temporary measures that provide interim relief to you and posterity.
The day will come when retrogression will become history. But nobody knows what the calendar date of that day is. I surely hope that the day falls in 2008.
As a start, have you looked at the High-Five campaign started by a IV member? Please donate $5 for that campaign. That is the least you can do.
