I got busted going twice the speed limit in a 55 MPH zone and just got convicted of Reckless Driving.I got 364 Days Suspended Sentence.
Does that count as an "crime of Moral Turpitude". Does that mean that I-485 will be deined?
Do you know anyone who was convicted of reckless driving and got their green card?

I am planning to schedule a visa appointment soon. I was filling DS-156 form
and have a following question:
Item#36 : "Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your Behalf?".
Here is my situation:

Myself -> H1B
My wife, kid -> H4
Applied for I-485 last year ( all 3 of us ).
Question:
For me, I understand that I say "yes" and mention name of my employer.
But for my wife+kid, I say "yes", but what should I fill for "who" part?
Also, Item#33 for my kid (2nd grade), should answer to "Do you intend to study
in US" be YES or NO ? ( my guess is YES, and name of the elementary school?)

Thanks for the suggestions. I called in the National Service Center and put in a request to expedite the case. Got an email that I can try to visit the local ASC and see if they can collect the biometric. We visited the local ASC today and the were kind enough to collect the Biometric. I hope we get the AP before the departure date..

hi everyone
I m an MBA(major:general mba)student in a university in texas. I have an bachelors of engineeing (electrical & electronics)from india. I have found an desi employer who is ready to train me in SAP (FICO)functional and than place me on projects to diffeent companies. Since i m graduating in august 2008 ,At first i have to work for him on OPT and than in apil 2009 my employer will sponcer my h1 visa.
Now my question is....
1) can i work in SAP FICO functional , when i m on my opt?(opt means i have to work in a job directly related to my major field of study and i guess SAP is not related to my field major field of study)
2)will i have problems getting a h1b visa? (since General MBA and SAP are completely different fields )
Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

It is possible. There is a relatively unknown technique called TT (abbreviation for Time Travel) which is also relatively related to relativity. When applied correctly, it is more effective than PD recapturing and labor substitution. That's how I got my green. In that update they answer the employer point of contact questions that is often asked by employers. I have e-filed my EAD & AP Renewal last week and trying to send supporting documents and I can't find what needs to be sent for this.....
Questions:
1) Do we need to send any photographs for my AP?
2) Any proof of Identification (passport first page) or Drivers License
3) Any H1 approval notices? (I am still on H1B)
4) Also I filed my AP which is expiring in Dec-08 i.e. 150 days before its expiry and curious to know if anyone�s application got rejected or approved. (I guess 120 days is the limit)
I appreciate your time and response.

Your parents can visit you for short trips as often as they like (within reason). But if they stay for an extended period (ie. the full 6 months stamped on the I94), then there is an implicit time gap requirement. In other words if your parents stay with you for 6 months then go back to their country and return to the US after 1 month, most likely they will not get a 6 month stamp the second time. In this scenario they might have plan their trip back to the US after 9 month or so. On the other hand if your parent stay with you for 1 month in the US, then leave for an other country and come back in 15 days, they should not have a problem with re-entry.

I am about to file for my 7th year extension with I140 approval. My contract will be renewed with end client, every 6 months and they will not provide me with any client letter, basing on their HR policies. Even if the client gives a letter it will show only a contract for 6 months. Is this needed, that I should produce a client letter for 3 years? My concerns are
1. My primary concern is will the 6 months project length effect my extension for 3 years. Will they extension basing only on the length of the project.
2. Do I need to mention the project length in the letter given by my employer on behalf of client
3. what are the documents relating to client, needs to be submitted for the extension. (I will not be able to produce the client letter, as they are not willing to give)
4. Can I take a letter from vendor, who is in between my employer and the end client. What should be clearly stated in this vendor letter. Is this necessary to mention the project lenght in this letter.
